we are building VOD service with authentication and I wonder if FMS is a good
choice for that and what FMS edition will allow us to perform cluent auth.

The flow is very simple, user selects a movie, pays for it and watches it
using a flash player on a webpage that listens to a stream. Streaming server
must provide some kind of check to see if user is authorized to view a movie.

As far as I understand, this is done using Interactive Server and server-side
scripting to check authentication (using webservices, for example).

1) Does anyone have an experience building VOD services of that kind? Could
you share your exp?
2) Do I understand correctly there is no way to use Streaming Server for that,
only Interactive Server?
