Vonage computer phone service? - Mac Networking

Can anyone who's tried Vonage phone service on their Mac give any advice? I'm just wondering if it's worth using. What are the major advantages & drawbacks? How hard is it to set up, and if you want to switch back to regular landline, how hard is it to switch back? Is it Mac-friendly? I know their website has info, but I want some unbiased reviews. Thanks....

"Trying it on the Mac" is impossible. It doesn't use a computer.

The Vonage internet phonse service works independent of your computer.
You simply plug their og Telephone Adapter (ATA)into your router,
plug your telephone into the ATA and start talking.

I have been using the Vonage service for about 2 months for both home
office and personal telephone lines. My favorite call was to Verizon
    to cancel my landline service.
