Watermarking Native Illustrator EPS files
Is there a plug-in or program or any other way to watermark Adobe Illustrator EPS graphics in their native EPS format (i.e not as an Illustrator PDF). DigiMark does not have a solution for watermarking vector graphics at this time.
Thanks

Re: Watermarking Native Illustrator EPS files
John,
You can certainly put in hidden and private identifying marks in vector which would be difficult to detect by someone not knowing what and were to look, but true watermarks which would be picked up by programs, such as those from DigiMark ... NO.

Re: Watermarking Native Illustrator EPS files
Thanks for the insight,
Any specific ideas on how this can be done effectively (i.e. so that it would take some effort for experienced users to find).
Any input would be appreciated
Thanks

Re: Watermarking Native Illustrator EPS files
Sure, put a special symbol (you created) at very very small size always in the same position, but within your artwork ON another line and make it no stroke, just a path. To find it, one would have to know where it was and would have to apply a stroke to it while zooming in (say to 6400% which is max level of zoom). How many times have you scanned a full page at that level? But the mark would be there as long as it's vector and that area of the image is there, so dry something in the very center of your design would be a good position.
