WDDX and mySQL
I trying to store a wddx packet (converted from a CF array) in a mySQL
database. When I retrieve itt and convert back to CFML, I'm getting the
following error -- "WDDX packet parse error at line 2, column 66. An invalid
XML character (Unicode: 0x8) was found in the element content of the
document.." -- I'm storing the packet in a "TEXT" field with no other encoding
going in or out. If I convert the array to wddx and back again, it looks fine,
so I'm assuming the problem is either my data type or some encoding.. Any
ideas???
TIA,
DG

Re: WDDX and mySQL
When I put the wddx packet into a <cfqueryparam type="cf_sql_longvarchar"> going into the database, it decoded perfectly.
It's always much easier in the morning.
