web administration problem

    Default web administration problem

    :sad;
    i am an student that is the webmaster for an elementary school. we use
    contribute and have for a couple of years. all of a sudden when i choose
    'administer website' i get an error message (no number or anything) "your
    version of contribute is too old to administer this website". we are using 3.0
    as schools never have money to upgrade. am i really cut off???? publishing
    works ok, but i am really in a bind. any help is appreciated. no school staff
    no anything about the software- i am on my own.

    It sounds like you or one of your co-workers has inastalled a truial version of
    CS3 and administered the website with this version. After that action you do
    get this error message. Adobe made it impossible to administer the site with
    older versions when you install CS3, I don't know the reason.

    :frown;I'm having the same problem, I am using 3.0 also. I changed my e-mail address and now I can't access the web site for a boat club that I update for. This is very frustrating.

    I'm having the same problem. I edit 2 different websites from the same
    Contribute 3 consloe. Without warning or error messages, I suddenly was unable
    to publish edited pages for one of the web sites. I noticed I had no
    connection, and I was no longer recognized as Administrator. I tried editing
    the connection with no luck, so I deleted the connection and tried to
    reestablish a connection using the known user neame and password. The program
    does not recognize me..... What to do??? This is only effecting one of the two
    websites on this consloe. What gives?
