Overall, I find their products very good (I've used Data Assist, Security
Assist, iRite, Digital File Pro) and they can certainly be quite the time
saver. However, I do find their current level of documentation lacking (as
compared to companies like Project Seven), basically just some "recipes" on
their site in video format. While I like a video tutorial now and then, I'd
just as soon have the same info in a PDF I can print out and mark up - they
do seem to be going more in this direction, too, so another plus for them is
that they do listen to their customers. Many of their products also presume
that you have a working knowledge of various scripting languages and
database creation/manipulation. This is not a bad thing at all, but does
trip up some customers who are not expecting to do anything but push a
button or two.
Their support forums in the past have been somewhat lacking in response from
people w/in the company (again as compared to Project Seven), *but* this has
improved markedly within the past 6 months. On one hand I don't like that
the answer to many of the problems posted on their newsgroups is "submit a
trouble ticket" instead answering things in the forums... HOWEVER, when I
have submitted trouble tickets, their help staff has always been good and
the tech was always knowledgeable.
So, I'd say, yeah, they have good products. I definitely use their products
a lot and would buy other products I find useful from them.

Well I have a favorable impression of them, but then again I work for WebAssist. You also might ask your question in the WebAssist forums to see what our customers feel about particular extensions:> I would appreciate if someone can give some impression about the Web Assist extensions,
