web calendar
Does anyone have any recommendations regarding having a calendar on our
staff web site such that the staff (12-16 of us) can go to it from anywhere
and change things, post events, etc.? I've been to the web site of
WebCalendarCreator (http://www.webcalendarcreator.com/), and that appears to
be the kind of thing we're looking for. I'm a fairly new with web page
design, but would it be difficult to learn how to build one of our own?
thanks for any help.

Web Calendar
Is there any advice that can be given on a online web calendar. What I am
looking for is software that can be easily changed and updated. Small
calendar but professional looking. Would like to have the dates pop up when
clicked on and needs to run on a Unix server. Would like to have only one or
two people have access to the calendar. Not leaving much room for error.
Thanks

Re: Web Calendar
you failed to mention what you needed the calendar for.
some calendar examples below.

I havent got to play with the above extension yet so canot tell you for sure
as to what I think of it. but for flat on page calendars,
http://www.softcomplex.com/products/tigra_calendar_pro/
I have played with the tigra calendar, it was easy to use and they had good
support.

Vally has been around a few years, I emailed support before and got a swift
reply. I have only used there free extensions in the past. all very good.

interakts pop up calander was simple to use, they offer great support on all
there products.

superfreaker do a calander but it is all included in a site template. you
will be able to have all up and running in no time. sad thing is that they
use frames. lol it would be cool if they just had the calander byitself for
dreamweaver users.

Re: Web Calendar
I really like this one by Ranjan
(http://www.dreamlettes.net/extensions/default.htm#CalPack) - it is ASP only
though.

Re: Web Calendar
only problem with that is if the person has pop ups turned off then they
will not be able to use your site.

Re: Web Calendar
Hi
If you are using PHP/MySQL there are quite a lot around. I have used EasySimpleCalendar (http://www.easilysimplecalendar.com) and am very pleased with the results and support.
Best regards
