Web Service with Attachments - Coldfusion - Advanced Techniques

So far I have been unable to find any evidence that Coldfusion supports SOAP attachments, however I was curious if anyone knows, has seen, or has made a web service that supports attachments in Coldfusion. My first thought was to simply access the HTTP Request headers of during the SOAP request and locate the boundary containing the attachments, however I'm not sure if the SOAP request will even work if there is boundary information in the SOAP request. Thanks in advance....

you could take a slightly different approach - you could encode the attachment
as a base64-encoded string, then just pass the string through your web service
to the consumer. this method works fine in CF.

Unfortunately that approach isn't possible with the scenario we're dealing with
    - transferring compressed data. Base64 Encoding the data would nearly defeat
the purpose of compressing it in the first place. Thanks for the suggestion
    though!
