Web site help

I currently own a website called [url]www.mushtube.com[/url] It is an all softball version
of youtube. The site was designed by an offshore company, and it is hosted by
Jaguar. I have access to all the files and templates. The default player file
is kept at [url]www.mushtube.com/player.swf[/url] I am new at this, but I thought the .swf
meant the player is a shockwave player, maybe a cheap version. The videos that
are embeded on my site from youtube play great, but the ones that are uploaded
directly to mushtube are shotty, buffer contantly and skip. I would like to
upgrade my default player to a good player like the one on youtube. I am also
interested in making a custom player that could have a logo on it or play short
commercials before the video plays. The company that designed the site said it
would cost upwords of $1,000 to have a new player installed. I thought I could
simply upload a better player into the [url]www.mushtube.com/player.swf[/url] file and
that would change my default player. I am unsure on how to do this, or what
player to use. I saw on wikipedia that the youtube player is a shockwave
player. If somone could point me in the right direction It would be greatly
appreciated.


PS
I am also looking for a player that I can use to show multiple banner ads in
one location without refreshing the page. I have seen ads for the adobe media
player 1.6 as a good player for banner ads, but am unsure on how to upload it
to my website, as opposed to my home PC.
