    Tables contains such col- and rowspans are notoriously inflexible. Go here

    Unfortunately, this is the way that FW will write your HTML if you allow it
    to. You page can be created from three nested tables -

    1. An outer table with two columns and one row.
    2. A table nested in the left-hand cell
    3. A table nested in the right-hand cell

    You would need no col- or rowspans in this case, and your page would be much
    more stable. Give this approach a try....
