Web-Site-Type?
I don't know if this is the aporpriate place to ask, but I'll ask anyway, and
hope for the best.
I was hoping to be able to create a web-page created by flash. Were by' the
site would load, and everything would be accessable from the page loaded?
I don't know what programs, I need.. or even where to start, but the programs
would be a nice start.

Re: Web-Site-Type?
You're right... this is not the place to post that, but here's some roadsigns
for ya ;)
You can create an entire page in flash (although I would recommend
against it as it's easy to get carried away).
Here's where you can get a free trial of Flash Studio MX (the most current
one): [S=http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=flash]Free
Flash MX Trial[/S] ; I assume it last only 30 days (or something to that
effect), so you'll need ot buy a version to really get familiar with it. I
bought mine from my college campus real cheap because of the student discount..
you might see if you can get a similar deal. Incidentally, this is a link to a
drop-down menu so you can pick the correct language and OS.
Here's the forum where you'd ask specific questions once you get going:
[S=http://www.macromedia.com/cfusion/webforums/forum/categories.cfm?catid=221]Op
en SWF General Discussion[/S]
And lastly, try things yourself before asking too many questions on these
forums. Once you get started with flash, it will probably confuse the begeezes
out of you...but just stick with it. Complete the tutorials, use other flash
sites as examples, pick apart other people's work, etc. It's a learning
process :D
Good luck to you ;)

Re: Web-Site-Type?
Well, if you're looking for a place to go to download flash movies so you can
study them, there is no one place you should go. Here's the results of
a simple google search for [F=Flash
Movies]http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=flash+movies[/F]. It showed some
places where you could get tutorials, examples, and downloads:
[F=flashkit.com]http://www.flashkit.com/movies/[/F],
[F=flashopensource.com]http://www.flashopensource.com/[/F],
[F=http://www.freelayouts.com/templates/display/flash[/F] (this one has more
advanced examples).
Good luck to you! ;)
