Web viewing vs. Print
While using Illustrator 10.0--I have saved an illustration that include outlined text as a PDF to be downloaded from a website.
THE PROBLEM IS: the end-user says it looks terrible on screen but prints from an office laser just fine.
Any suggestions??? I don't have a solution for this. It looks fine on my end.
Could there be any connection between creating it on a MAC and the enduser works on a PC??
I have also saved it as an EPS then imported it into InDesign and created a PDF...same problem.
PLEASE HELP! Thanks!

Re: Web viewing vs. Print
I notice the same thing using Acrobat 4.
I hear in Acrobat 6 there is a preference to smooth the appearance.

Re: Web viewing vs. Print
Dont outline your text, and make sure you choose to embed your fonts when saving as a PDF.
Hope this helps!!
