WEBSITE DESIGNING
Hi,
1) I want to develop a site in percentage (width 100% ). I need to insert a
banner, in percentage.... what is the size i have to take in Photoshop for
banner. 800*600 pixel is good & also when it is viewed in 1024*768. What about
percentage??? help required...
2) When we develop a site in 800*600 it sets good in 800*600 res monitor. when
viewed in 1024*768 some images and font sizes gets increased and look & feel is
disturbed.
Is there any code which controls depending upon the
monitor resolution...?
Thanks In advance

Read this before choosing a size -

Changing resolutions has no effect on font or image sizes. It just changes
the size of the pixels on the screen.

When you design your own site, you may often have your browser fully
maximized because that is what you are focused on. But when you are
targetting an audience, realize that they are sitting in front of their
computer, and may be multi-tasking (as modern OSes are designed specifically
for that). So they may have a few browsers open, their email, IM, etc.
In otherwords, they likely aren't maximizing their browser if they have a
high resolution monitor as much as you may think they are.
