    For starters, fix the code errors here -

    http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.artnouveaumag azine.com%2FJanuaryFebruary%2.html

    (also linked here - http://tinyurl.com/3awebn)

    The problem is that you have specified an HTML doctype, but you are using
    XHTML tag syntax. Fix that and you'll take care of most of those errors.

    Thank you!

    I added this to fix the errors, yet there are now 200 more errors? How exactly
    am I supposed to do exactly what you said? <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD

    Upload the page, and post the link (if it's not the same as the previous

    On that page you have almost the reciprocal problem: an XHTML doctype with
    HTML tag syntax usage.

    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN"
    "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">
    <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" lang="en" xml:lang="en">
    <head>
    <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; cht=utf-8">

    Open the page in DW, and use FILE | Convert > HTML 4.01 Transitional.

    We need to get to a valid page before troubleshooting the layout issues.

    I've did exactly what you said and now it's only 11 errors. Should I just convert all my pages?

    (should be <script type="text/javascript">, not <script

    and let's take another look at the rendering problem then.
