website not updating!!!!!

I really hope that someone can help me here. I created a
web site thru Publisher and it went really smooth. I'm
very happy with the results.
However, when I try to update any of my web pages, they
do not update on the web. I am editing my .pub files,
then saving them as HTML and publishing - following all
the instructions to the "T", and still nothing gets
updated.
I am soooooooo frustrated!!!!!! Please speak to me in
layman terms as I am NOT a computer programmer or
anything even remotely close.

After you do the editing in the pub file, you have to upload all the new
html and image files.

HI Don,
thanks for responding. I should have said before, that
after I save the changes, I do "attempt" to upload them
to my site and they do not appear.

I have found it best to not tamper with individual pages with
Publisher. I delete the entire site (site = whatever the .pub
generates to htm) and replace as a unit. Its a pain to do it that way
for a one link update, but it is the only way that works in every
case!

I routinely upload only the changed pages in Publisher 2000. On my slow dialup,
I would not live long enuff to upload the entire site each time I update just a
page or two. But I think this may be easier to do in Publisher 2000 than in
2003 from comments I have seen in here.

Everyone should be aware of a very basic issue. If your web page has been
cached and you don't flush the cache or set up your browser to refresh every
time you load a previously visited page, you may be looking at the old site
before it was updated because your browser is loading it from the old cached
info instead of what is currently on the site.
