Webtop and Sun's Java - SCO

I posted a while back with no responses on this issue. Anyone know why Unixware's Webtop does not function properly when using Sun's Java? Specifically the function and arrow keys do not work. Microsoft is no longer supporting or distributing their VM, so I am stuck with no alternatives. I have also been looking for a Java or ActiveX based emulator to run in a browser, but none of them properly emulate SCOANSI. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Rob com...

    Default Webtop and Sun's Java

I posted a while back with no responses on this issue. Anyone know

    stuck with no alternatives.

I have also been looking for a Java or ActiveX based emulator to run
in a browser, but none of them properly emulate SCOANSI.

    Any help would be appreciated.

The UnixWare Webtop is based on Tarantella technology. Your best bet
would be to go to http://www.tarantella.com and look at their support
and knowledge base files regarding what are the best JVMs to use for a
    given browser.

    Rob,

as far as I know, Unixware's Webtop is based upon Tarantella II which is
a VERY old product which is no longer included in recent UW releases.

Only recent versions of Tarantella (namely TTA E3.30 and E3.40) are
supported with the latest JVM machine so perhaps this is the problem
you're facing (ie, using an old Java product with the latest JRE).

However, I agree with Jonathan concerning the fact that you might have
better luck by posting on the Tarantella's newsgroup.

    Best,
    Roberto
