Weighted Average Results for Real Estate queries
I am looking for resources to aid in the development of weighted average query
results for a real estate application. For example, a potential investor
creates a profile when registering in which he/she attaches a weight factor to
certain real estate criteria (# bedrooms, sq. ft., waterfront, basement, etc).
Then based on these criteria, and the applied weight factors, the results are
returned after the query is run against an IDX database..... this way, the
potential investor sees all properties that most closely meet his/her criteria
based on the weight factors they applied. I would like to display all
properties that are above a 75% level as far as criteria that are met or
exceeded....
Any ideas, suggestions, recommendations for resources or reference points
would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Rick Watts
