Default What anout my PM Scripts?

OK, the handwriting is on the wall - we've got consider moving from PM6.5-7 and moving to ID.

    QUESTION:
We've got over 250 scripts written for PM.
Can they be converted to In Design?

My answer from Adobe (Marketing?) has been "vague".

Someone may be able to answer that for you in here but you should really ask in the InDesign Scripting forum.

Chances are that most of those scrips may not be needed since ID does so much more that PM couldn't.

There is no automatic script converter.

But then, the need for specific scripts is likely to be different, anyway. The two applications provide different features. Some things that need a script in PageMaker are now part of InDesign (heck, some things that needed a script in InDesign 2.0.2 are now part of InDesign CS).

Meanwhile, some things you took for granted in PageMaker might now need a script.
