    Default What are "Acr000000.tmp" files?

I am on a Macintosh G4, OSX (10.3). I work in QuarkXpress 6.0 making pdfs and working in Acrobat 6.0 to make fillable forms.

I occasionally get an extra file when I make a pdf. File name is "Acr104928.tmp". I have to keep deleting these extra files.

Also, when I put files in a "shared folder" for others on my network.... they see duplicate files.

What causes this and how can I stop it?

Default Re: What are "Acr000000.tmp" files?

I use QuarkXpress 6.0 to make individual pdfs (forms).

Then in Acrobat I make "packets" by starting with one form and combining other pdf forms (using insert page). I am sometimes inserting up to 10 pages to create the packet.

I notice these "temp" files are only created when I make packets.

I guess I could just delete them..... just curious why they are created.

Thanks..... never knew this option existed.

I'm thinking about taking some of the online training on the Adobe website. I'm sure it will help me.

The element-k stuff is pretty boring in my opinion. I would personally
either go for Total Training DVDs or treat yourself to some real Acrobat
