What are the advantages of .ai file format compare to eps?
What is the difference between saving in .ai or .eps file formats?
Saving in eps gives me opportunity to import file to other applications. Do I need to have an .ai copy? What are the advantages of .ai file format?

Elena,
Unless you are going to PRINT and only to a PostScript printer (commercial or otherwise), you want to use either .ai or .pdf format.
