What are the solution for protecting Director applications?
I have spoken to companies like:
Alladin
MacroVision
Pace
None of them have experience protecting Director applications. Is there a Macromedia solution to protect application created in Director? If not, is there a way to protect the Director applications? If so, what are the company names or the products to use?

Re: What are the solution for protecting Director applications?
As long as In know, protecting a director projector (.exe) would require the
same procedings as a protecting scheme for any other .exe file by any of the
companies you mentioned. I´ve made some reasearch on this and have found no
specific tools for .exe files generated with Director.

Re: What are the solution for protecting Director applications?
Thanks Arturo, as the search goes on it seems that the answer might be that we have to make the software protect w/in Director in the form as a Xtra. See http://www.mediaclick.us/ under Protection. I'd still like to solve this post Director & wrap it w/ another application...... the search goes on.
Thanks again

Re: What are the solution for protecting Director applications?
You´re right Chicken. It would be worth to have this kinda device as an
Xtra... you could make this Xtra encrypt text members, assign due dates,
passwords... the copy protection is way harder to achieve though. You know,
not even microsoft has been able to solve piracy in a technical level. Most
efforts in this issue are being done on the ethical level. Let us know if
you achieve something in this noble enterprise!!
Luck!
