What do U think?
I am wondering about the pros and cons of getting my website redesigned
using a new technology such as
Flash. My aim is to contact artlovers and sell my pictures. I gather not
all computers can access Flash, so that might be a disadvantage.

Re: What do U think?
Flash is one way to do it, not necessarily the best way - it depends on how
you wish your site to look and behave, and also whether you wish to learn
the technology and build/maintain it yourself, or have someone else do this
for you. Maybe asp.NET is best, maybe flash, maybe even plain old HTML.
99.9% of computers can access flash, and if your site is set up properly, it
will give users without flash the chance to automatically install it - so I
wouldn't consider access to be an issue for you. Depending on how well the
site is designed, content and file sizes could be an issue for clients with
slow internet service. Good designers can look at your ideas and discuss
with you the best way to strike a balance between your design needs, and
your clients' access needs.
Do you have a detailed picture in your mind of how you wish your site to
look and behave, and how you wish the user to interact with it?
