What does "Array Length is Out of Range" mean?
I have created a PDF from Mac Quark 6.5 and when I open it up in Acrobat 6.0.2 Professional it gives me an error message, "array length is out of range." What does this mean? I am using OS X 10.3.9.

Might be worth going to Quark/Utilities/Xtensions Manager/OPI/
turn the tick OFF - re-start Quark (make sure it's remained OFF) and
make the PDF again ...

You'd have to look into the PDF technical manuals for a very techie answer. It really just means that QuarkXPress screwed up! (Quark doesn't handle PDF very well sometimes.)

Corrupted OPI comments derived from the Quark postscript stream ....
Disabling the OPI Xtension in Quark eliminates the problem in this clash
between postscript (bad OPI) and the PDF process ...
