What version is this Photoshop Elements?

I recently joined a fashion company. In the company there is a Sony laptop in which Photoshop Elements is installed. But I can't check out what version is this Photoshop Elements. Is it possible it is the earlier version of Photoshop Elements 2? If so, can it be upgraded to Elements 2? Tnanks.

Whenyou start Elements you should see a screen that shows you that
information as the program is loading. If it is Photoshop Elements 2
you will see that written on the screen along with an image of a
sunflower. If you don't see that it's probably PSE1.0

If it's Element 1.0, there's no upgrade path through Elements 2.0, they are
both shipped as full version. You can check at Amazon.com (or any other
online retailer) for the price of Elements 2.0. It's been reported many
times here that Elements 2.0 is sold for a very good price at Amazon (with
rebates).
