Thanks. No the page is not dynamically generated. We've got some scripting to
bring up a menu when you mouse over it so maybe that is confusing it.

I did get a messy work-around to work. I opened the html file in notepad,
deleted everything except the section I wanted to edit and saved it as a second
file. Then I opened the second file with contribute, made my changes and
re-saved. Then I opened the second file with notepad, copied all the HTML and
repasted it into the original file. Maybe it would have been easier to learn
HTML!

I have all the restrictions that I can find turned off (e.g. Allow
unrestricted editing, etc.) in case contribute is trying to "protect" me from
some code. This hasn't solved the problem.
