I have a client who downloaded the demo version of Contribute 4 (PC) and used
it to make extensive changes to the home page of a site that I designed for
them. The page was inadvertently overwritten with an earlier version of the
page (by me, arghh) that I had done in Dreamweaver. When I suggested that he
simply upload his version of the page, he said that since he bought the program
and installed it, the pages that he worked on are gone. We haven't been able to
locate this earlier version of the home page. He tried Rollback and so on but
the earlier work is nowhere to be found. I find it hard to believe that the
files aren't somewhere on that PC. He has searched his hard drive and come up
empty. Anyone have any insights?
Thanks,
Geoff
