Where can I get qt6asset.x32?
I've looked through discussions about using QuickTime in Director [Windows]. Several people have asked, in vain, whether there is a source for an updated Xtra for QuickTime 6. Can anyone answer just that particular question?
Thanks

Re: Where can I get qt6asset.x32?
Are you talking about an update of the Xtra for an older version of Director? The Quicktime Xtra comes as part of the standard install for each version of Director. Quicktime 6 support has been in since 8.5 I believe.
Let me know if I am way off from your question.

Re: Where can I get qt6asset.x32?
I have MX and the qt6asset.x32 in my movie extras.
But my shockwave player, that I downloaded yesterday, won't play any
quicktimes through the player. It's documentation says the shockwave player
comes with this extra for viewing quicktime mov through the player. But a get
an alert box saying it failed to initialise or doesn't exist and I have to make
sure it's in the right folder.....
Re-install shockwave player or some thing perhaps???
