Default Where Do I Get Commercial Flight Data?

We've been asked to build a read-only commercial flight data look-up service
that runs on the web. Whoopee but where do I get the data?

Thank you. That's the kind of lead I was looking for. Google lacks that
personal touch that comes with experience of some sort.
I've also discovered there is a commpany called Innovata LLC [1] hat seems
to be the gatekeeper of what those in the aviation industry call the SRS
(Scheduled Reference Service) [2] but what I have yet to determine is if
that presumption is correct or if there are in fact more than one central
provider. All I need are read-only look-ups for arrivals and departures.

I used Google before posting. Yes, I should have been a bit more expressive
before posting but in this context finding a centralized source of data
requires depending on the experience of others which is why I asked.

Anyway, while I have your attention, last October of 2004 the UK apparently
implemented laws requiring website accessibility. Do you have any insights
or URLs to refer to? Any history of prosecution yet?

Are they requiring it across the board? In the U.S., Section 508 only applies to Government websites (Federal, State, and Local.) Commercial/Private sites are not included.

In October 2004 the UK passed legislation mandating websites be accessible.
I do not know if the UK has begun punitive actions -- yet -- or what level
of compiance they require. In the US change is under way too as recent
actions by Elliot Spitzer show [1]. I am a degreed architect and have
experience working with regulatory compliance. What SPitzer did was no
surprise to me. They -- government -- will increase the penalties
incrementally with various scapegoats until a precedent is established.
Lower courts have ruled that we in the private sector are not required to
comply but obviously Spitzer proved differently. Its actually good news. It
will mean more work for web design and development, quite possibly tax
breaks for compliance as occurred for building owners and a better world for
the many people who have been shut out by non-conforming resources. I'm
re-working my own site at the moment.
