Default Where is Nautilus command line

Newby here. In reading messages in this group I have several times seen
references to what appears to be a Nautilus command line. Since I have
not found this on my Breezy installation, I wonder just what is ment.
The commands would not work on a console or terminal.

    TIA

Can you give an example of what you mean?

There isn't one that I know of. Konqueror in KDE allows a virtual
terminal linked to the file browser but it is no different than opening a
terminal in that directory and executing the command.

There's an add-on to Nautilus that does the same thing:

    nautilus-open-terminal

    Available in Synaptic.

It should add a menu entry under 'File' if I remember correctly (I
don't use it myself) You may have to log out of Gnome and back in
    to load it.
