I'm trying to figure out how to install the Firefox extension for Contribute 4
without uninstalling/reinstalling the software. Evaluating C4 on a PPC Mac. All
I need to know is this: Where can I find the XPI file?

I skipped the extension install step because it includes the ridiculous
requirement that the person installing it drill down into the some vaguely
specified child folder of the Firefox profile folder. Now I discover that Adobe
doesn't actually make the extension available for install unless you're also
simultaneously installing the software itself.

All we need is the XPI. Tell us where the XPI is, and Firefox will
install it for us. That would actually be easier than using the Contribute
installer to do it. Adobe's installer development team should take a look at
the very simple way that other blogging tools do their extension installation.
(Hint: All you need to do is load a URL.)
