Where to get psync (ala CCC)? - Mac Applications & Software

Looking for the psync utility that is used by Carbon Copy Cloner. I tried the auto download/install feature from within CCC, but it errs out. I tried the link from Mike Bombich's web site, but that is a dead end, too. Any ideas where I can find psync that CCC uses? Thanks, -- Dave C com...

I already tried that one. All www.dan.co.jp links (of which this is one) are
    dead.

Please, before suggesting a link, try it.

works perfectly here. I did not try the japanese server.

Maybe you did not notice because the file is so small (7k).

The site must have been down. I got the "Unable to open link" page the 3
    times I tried it.

It just worked for me now. Thanks.

Dave, psync is great, but I don't think Carbon Copy Cloner uses psync.
I think it uses ditto and dd (?) utilities.

I use CCC to create a bootable backup, then psync to maintain the
    backup as I make changes.

I finally downloaded psync, and yes, CCC does install it and use it. I'm
using CCC v2.2 Maybe earlier versions used ditto and other sync tools.

Still getting to know CCC and psync. Seem to work well, but I'm only on day

Not sure if it's the same one, but I use this:

    http://sourceforge.net/projects/psyncx

PsyncX is a gui front end that schedules cron jobs. Those in turn
call a script "runpsync" that does some checks before executing psync.
All three parts are bundled in the package.
