Which AV for Win2k Server?
Which AV program works well with Win2k Server? I have NAV Corp 8.1
but know it likes to integrate heavily with the OS. I've had
incompatibility problems with NAV and other programs.
We're running a web server. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Brett

Re: Which AV for Win2k Server?
BitDefender is a pretty good AV solution that is starting to make waves
among the big AV makers out there (Symantec have tried buying them with no
luck yet). Give it a try.

I have used InoculateIT from Computer Associates for several years with good
success.

biggest POS in history. TONS of times it told us basically, "Hey I
found this virus, but I didn't do anything about it!". Or wouldn't
find the virus at all, but we could run a scan from SARC and find
them.
Original Poster: We've switched to Symantec and have been happy with
it. Lots of people seem to be happy with Trend Micro's server
product as well.

Re: Which AV for Win2k Server?
Quite honestly it has worked very well including the exchange option. I like
the front end piece (admin server) that you can run which allows you set up
policies that dictate how each workstation is configured in regards to
antivirus settings. I have to servers that download virus signature updates
on a regualr basis and then all workstations download updates from these two
servers. Have been using the product since 1995. One negative is their patch
management - somewhat sloppy - but most companies are.
