Default which ethernet system extension for 7200?

I'm trying to get to run an old 7200/90 with 8.1.
I'm having trouble with the b/i 10baseT ethernet.
Neither AppleTalk nor TCP/IP wordover it, the Mac does not generate any
frames on the wire.
Which version of Apple's ethernet system extension should I use?
I've come across http://technology.spps.org/docs/ethernet_in_a_mac.htm,
but the respective link at Apple's is gone, and I cannot find that
update.
Any suggestions which ethernet driver to run would be very much
appreciated. Thanks.

PS: could it be the Mac is permanently configured to AAUI instead of TP?

I think the lastest version is 8.5 without going to the 9.x level. In
any event, OpenTransport should handle it for you. Even my old 7.6
machines handle ethernet without any driver software using OT.

as it turned out, you do need a driver (system extension). I finally
extracted Ethernet (built-in) 2.0.2 from the 8.1 upgrader tome. Now
things work fine.
