Default Which Xtra am I missing?

Have a game, everything works in authoring mode, but in the projector, some
sounds don't play. The sound-related Xtras I have in the game's Xtras
    folder are as follows:

    DirectSound.x32
    Sound Control.x32
    MacroMix.x32

What else do I need? Just standard .wav files as far as I know, but some of
them don't play. Also, do I need all three of the ones I already have? I'd
rather not include anything that doesn't need to be there...

Open your movie in authoring mode. Go to the Modify... menu, select
Movie... then Xtras... Select each xtra listed and remove it. Close the
window. Start your movie, then stop it. Open the menu again. You will
now have a list of all of the required Xtras for that movie minus any
    third party Xtras.

In addition to Rob's suggestion (I think he meant that that method would
not include any /scripting/ Xtras like fileIO, Buddy API, etc). Don't
forget to keep any other external movies in mind. For example, if you're
using a stub projector, it will not tell you which asset Xtras you may need
    in the other movies.

I'm pretty sure you'll need to include Mix Services.x32, but that should
appear in the list using Rob's suggestion.

Also, is there anything different between the working and non-working
    sounds?

Are you also playing videos in the project? If so, try setting the
    soundKeepDevice to 0.

Yeah, that's part of the problem. I have one .exe stub (which hasn't changed in months) and it just points to a .dxr. All the
xtras are in a seperate folder called Xtras. (I'm using the fast-start projector method.)

    I'll try that...

Not that I know of, but I just grabbed some sound effects off the web. They're all .wav files, but they could be encoded
differently, or maybe some are stereo and some mono, I don't know. They all work in authoring, however.

No, no video. Some animated gifs, but that's it. (And gifs don't have sound, so that shouldn't be related.) There's also no
Flash, or anything else of a funky nature going on in here. It's pretty basic, really. (I mean, months of complex coding, but
    pretty simple, media-wise.)

Nope, that wasn't it... Let me try Rob's trick and I'll get back to you...

That'll probably get you there if you remember to do it for all your
movies. Don't forget those scripting Xtras though
    (FileXtra4,FileIO,etc...).

Stereo/Mono/16-bit/8-bit/various sample rates for audio should play.
However, there may be a need to have them all in the same format if you're
mixing them together. I seem to recall a technote regarding this, but can't
point you to it right now. This may also depend on which soundDevice you're
    using (directSound or MacroMix).

And, of course, they should probably be sampled at one of the old
    "standard" rates:

    44100 Hz
    22050 Hz
    11025 Hz
    8000 Hz
