White line added to edge of pictures

Default White line added to edge of pictures

Ref: http://www.whitecarp.com/Test/FW_prob.htm

I'm using FW MX (new at it but not new to FW) on WIN XP. I've just cropped
some images and when I drop them into my DW MX page, they have a white line
along one edge. This line is not there in FW. It's not that the canvas is
showing. I've tried changing the canvas color to red or black, but it's
still there. Any idea why this might be happening? If it's relevant, I
also found that there were odd little stretches of color along the lower
border of the canvas that I could not get rid of. They did not seem to have
anything to do with my photos, and they don't show up in DW.

I'm going nuts. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

| I also found that there were odd little stretches of color along the lower border of the canvas that I could not get rid of.

The little stretches are probably Screen Artifacts. The new version show
that every now and then.

| I've just cropped some images and when I drop them into my DW MX page,
they have a white line along one edge.

About the White edges, can you post the PNG FW Sourcefile somewhere?

I had not saved a png. I was using a jpg from my client, modifying it, then
exporting it. When I went back to the original jgp to create a png to show
you, it's no longer exhibiting the problem. I'm sorry to have troubled you.

Thanks for your quick response. If it happens again, I'll save the png and
repost.
