    Default who accesses a file?

    Hi-
Is there anyway with Server 2003 default install, that I
can tell who has accessed a file on the server? It is a
file that they DO have file rights to.

Any help would REALLY be appreciated!

    thanks - Cindy

Default Re: who accesses a file?

Your use of "who has" implies that you want to do this retrospectively.
Unless you already turned on file access auditing, the answer is no. Look
    up "auditing" in Windows Help.
