Who is that masked rubyist?<Pine.LNX.4.44.0311172050250.1489-100000@ool-4355dfae.dyn.optonline.net>
Hi --
I have always loved this anonymous quote from an old Ruby Garden
exchange (http://www.rubygarden.org/article.php?sid=222, about
1/3 down the page):
I would like to evolve FROM Perl, Java and C++ rather than TO Perl,
Java and C++.
It's amazing how often this quote hits the nail on the head in
discussions of Ruby's past, present, and future.
I've always wondered who wrote it. Anyone want to step forward? :-)
David
