Why are my custom cursors flashing?

Hi there, I was just wondering if there is any know issue with custom
cursors that would cause them to flash invisible.

hi.

what version of Director are you using? Can you duplicate this behavior on
another machine? I've heard of this problem in D7 when the cursor is on top
of a DTS sprite. Do you have a DTS sprite on the stage when the flickering
occurs?

I am using Director 9.0 (Mx) and the problem does not actually occur on the
machine I developed the program on (running Xp), but my roomates computer
(running Me)

If his mouse pointer is set to use a shadow, try turning that off in the mouse
control panel.
