    they are sending you IP & pc data to marcomedia, so as to prevent cracks
    software from running on the net.

    Hi, if you've noticed the new Start Pages, they now have direct access to
    Macromedia so you can get up to date content. I suspect it is connecting to
    check for that content.

    It is also checking that mutliple liscensed copies of the same
    software are not running at the same time. This is to prevent one
    person from buying a copy and distributing it to all his friends.
