    times the ISP does not take abuse seriously.

    Did you for even a moment think before you posted this? The _first_ thing an
    ISP is going to do, assuming it takes you seriously, is to investigate
    _exactly_ what happened. Five minutes work will show your sock-pupettery, and
    thereby destroy your credibility.

    And it should be noted that merely stating exactly what you have demonstrated
    yourself to be does not constitute abuse.

    The difference is that the OP was obscene. There are plenty of people
    who still find such language offensive - and plenty of ISPs who will
    act to prevent it.
