Why is font changing to default courier?
Hi guys, I am using acrobat 6.0.2 professional on Mac OS 10.3.9.
One of my clients sends me quotes via acrobat, on this version the font defaults back to courier or similar font, but on our old OS 9.2 system running Acrobat 4.0 it's fine??? please help as this is driving me crazy. Thanks in advance

Probably down to the fonts not being embedded - check via File /
Document Info / Fonts /
Fonts which are embedded have the words EMBEDDED alongside - all others
are not actually inside the PDF - only reliant upon the host system

What happens if you toggle the USE LOCAL FONTS option under ADVANCED?

Hi Jon, thanks again for the help, this is starting to drive me crazy.
I checked again it says the font is an embedded subset, does that mean it is embedded????
I also toggled the Use local fonts option but it made no difference.
Funny that is works on my old system but not on the G5???

Very odd - if you open via Reader 8.0 - does this now display correctly
on the G5?

It actually displays correctly on screen, it's only when you print that we have the problem???
