Re: why is the "Adobe Acrobat 6.0.1 Update" message there at the top? -- the update doesn't work
I've noticed other people and lengthy threads with update problems but anyway if someone knows how to fix this it'd be great:
Acrobat 6 installed freshly on a freshly installed 10.2.6 system today. I downloaded the 6 to 6.01 updater and ran it and got:
"An error prevented the update from completing
11002:2,-14"
The app is then not updated and rendered unusable -- needed installing again.
I had this problem ages ago and never got round it -- came back today to try it again as i thought it might have been resolved but doesn't appear so.
How can I update?
Thanks.

Hmm - not 100% sure if it is a bonafide copy or a beta has slipped into
circulation?
Anybody know the date for the actual Release Candidate proper?

My original Acrobat Professional 6.0.0 is 19/5/03.
My original Acrobat Standard 6.0.0 is also 19/5/03.
My updated Acrobat Professional 6.0.1 is 30/10/03.
My Acrobat Professional 6.0 CDROM has, at the bottom of the label
"90043075 4/03". It was shipped on release, it was on back-order.
