Why when I export a Director Movie as quicktime does it give an extention of .#res

    #res... is a quickTIme resource file means your QuickTIme needs flattening!
    how are you exporting the QuickTime?

    I am going to the file menu and under "export" choosing to export all frames
    and doing so with the dropdown menu of file type or format set to
    "quicktime" or .mov.

    Is that what you are asking?
