It looks like they may not (I only tried a couple of ftp addresses)

But that's not a problem, as the older system software can be found
    here...

    Of course, no such thing.
    Download the images desired.
    Mount them in Jag.
    Launch classic.
Use a utility to extract the sounds.
[e.g. I just did this with 'system tools' for 6.0.3 & resedit
2.1.3: clink-clank, monkey, simple beep, boing]

Strictly speaking, that would be a violation of your license
agreement with Apple, and the reason I didn't make a similar offer
(well, that and I haven't checked to see if the floppies I have are
still readable on my SO's machine, or whether the CD's I have
    contain them).

FWIW, you don't have to go back *that* far to find a Mac OS that
includes those sounds; I was able to find them on the OS 8.6 install CD
that came with my old iMac.

    :-)
Oh, OK - I thought they'd been dropped by that point [I probably
would have looked on a System 7, or 7.5 CD]. But, I was mainly
concerned with the process, rather than which versions of the OS
had which sounds. [Which is why I chose a system known to be older
    than the sounds required]
