    Default Will Adobe Keep Contribute?

ALL of our clients love Contribute. And, offering Contribute gives our
company HUGE leverage in selling a new job.

Has there been any discussion as to whether Adobe will be keeping
    Contribute?

There has been exhaustive discussion on the future of ALL Macromedia and
Adobe products (since the minute the Press Release was made public).

However, until Adobe actually acquires Macromedia (later this year subject
to approvals etc), I don't think even Adobe knows the future of Contribute
    at this stage.

All anyone can assume for now is that there will be no major changes for at
    least 12 months.

John's response is the correct reponse; however, I'd be very surprised if
Contribute (or Dreamweaver) went away. They're far more popular than the
    Adobe products.

I wouldn't be too sure. Its very unlikely that any person who uses Dreamweaver
    would ask "What's Photoshop?"

But would they ask "What's Co-Author"? Probably....

Adobe's Contribute-type product. Check the Adobe web site....

    It's free.

    So much for Contribute having a future. :frown;

I cannot see Adobe admitting a third failure on the web design front, so I am
not optimistic about DreamWeaver's chances. (Remember PageMill and GoLive
CyberStudio? They were the leading web design applications at the time, until
Adobe got their hands on them.)

Maybe I should just give up and upgrade GoLive 6 to GoLive CS2.
