Re: Will DW write XHTML Strict code?
Sorry I should have been a little more clear. What I mean is can it be set up
to write the Strict code when working in design view. BTW I'm using DW MX 2004.
As an alternative it would also help if there is some place in the
documentation that describes what steps in design view will produce
non-validating code. For instance I know that you can set the width and size of
a <hr /> element from design view.

Re: Will DW write XHTML Strict code?
DW will do what you tell it to. It will not compensate for your mistakes.
If you want to write strict XHTML, then you will have to learn how to do
that, and use DW accordingly.

Re: Will DW write XHTML Strict code?
OK let me be more specific. I already know how to write Strict XHTML. What I
was wondering is can DW de set up so that when in design view if, for instance,
I insert a table and click on one of the cells the property inspector will only
let me set those attributes that are compliant (i.e. no width and height for a
cell).
