Will FileMaker 7 work with ID?

I am in the process of purchasing software to design a catalog for a small business with approx 200 products. Is there a plugin or a feature of ID that would let me transfer my Filemaker database information into ID? I am a newbie to this type of software and have very limited design experience.

My database/publishing epiphany came when someone told me, "We're just moving text files around." That removed my anxiety level forever.

Using any database and ID tagged text, you should be able to create concatenations that will allow you to import your [field] info perfectly styled and ready to go.

A year or so ago, someone posted a sample of a demo that will pull in text and graphic data in one fell swoop for a catalog. I can't recall if they were selling that, or giving it away, and my link to it is on another computer, but a little research through the old postings should get you on your way.
