    It's not a problem, it's a design decision.

    You understand that the sound circuitry powers down to save
    power ? If you run KeepSoundAwake you'll be chopping somewhere
    between 30 and 45 minutes off of your battery time. Apple
    thought that having the battery last that much longer was worth
    it.

    Except the design decision is flawed. Why be concerned with battery life
    when the laptop is powered by the AC adapter?
