Win 2k3 Terminal Server session control
Hi Terminal services gurus!
I have TS 2003 with 71 TS cals in per user mode. All is
fine until the user disconnects without logging off. I
have set the session limits for the users themselves at
reset on disconnect (they only use 1 application)End a
disconnected session after 1 min, No active limit and an
idle limit of 30 mins. When the limit is reached or
connection is broken - end the session and allow re-
connect only from original client.
TS basically ignores these settings. It never disconnects
after idle timeout and never re-sets after disconnected
timeout.
I have tried adding these settings as overides to the
nuser settings in TS Configuration snap in but get the
same results.
How do I get the sessions to behave as they should??
Also is it possible to prevent TS users from
disconnecting the session all together, thus forcing them
to logout or close the application to close?
