WIN XP HOME, Peer Networking
small office networked PTP. One Win 98, one Win XP Home
using DSL broadband Internet, sharing folders on workgroup.
Trying to add new laptop w/XP home, using Network Setup
Wizard. Using LAN card/connection, naming workgroup to
match the other two computers. Sometimes it sees the other
XP Home, never the Win 98 computer. When it sees the XP
Home computer, it will not connect, even though folders are
shared and checked to allow network users to modify. Tried
multiple times w/Network Wizard, one time it will see the
other XP home computer, next time not. What is going on?
Thanks in advance for any help,
BH
